We offer a meticulous editing and revision service in English and Italian to ensure that your printed material, web content and translated material look as professional as you do.

Editing your copy before you have it translated (pre-editing) can also cut your printing or photocopying costs.

For web sites, it makes sense to pre-edit your copy, especially if you intend to have your site translated. We'll advise you on which content to translate for an international audience – sometimes just the home page is enough. Once again, we can help you reduce costs and simplify your life.

Translation quality control

Translation "howlers" can damage your reputation and credibility – or make you look ridiculous. Anything that brings your reader up short, even for just one puzzled second, interferes with their smooth reading and understanding of the text. So even minor and less obvious mistakes – in style, tone or vocabulary – can distort your meaning and deter readers. Worse, they could lose you money and business, or have serious legal consequences.

If you already have translated material (printed or web copy) and would like to double-check the quality, we offer a "translation health-check". If the translation is fine as it is, we'll tell you so. If not, we can either re-translate your material or advise you on which points you should consider asking your translator to revise.
